The Truck Visit Appointments view displays the truck visit appointments that exist at the current scope level. A truck visit appointment groups existing transaction appointments and provides one appointment number for all transactions associated with the truck visit. If you configure your gate to use truck visit appointments, you can add, edit, or delete truck visit appointments from this view. For more information on configuring appointments, see Configuring a Gate (on page 1).

The Truck Visit Appointments tab in the Truck Visit Appointment Rule form (on page 1) (Appointment Rule Set form (on page 1) Truck Visit Rules tab (on page 1)) displays the truck visit appointments that are associated with the selected transaction appointment or truck visit appointment rule.

The Truck Visit Appointment view/tab displays the state of each truck visit appointment. In addition, the Truck Visit Appointment Inspector (on page 1) displays the event history in the Events, History tab.

From the Truck Visit Appointments view/tab, you can use the Actions menu to:

To cancel or close a truck visit appointment, the selected truck visit appointment(s) must be in the Created state.

You can change a truck visit appointment in the Created state to ReadyForCheckIn or CheckedIn state only if the N4 setting ROADAPPOINTMENT005 (ALLOW_APPT_CHECK_IN) (on page 1) is set to True. You can also set ROADAPPOINTMENT006 (APPT_CHECK_IN_TOLERENCE) (on page 1) which is the number of minutes before the appointment time, wherein the appointment state is changed from ReadyForCheckIn to CheckedIn.

You can use this action to extract the chargeable truck visit appointment events for the selected truck visit appointment. A chargeable event is an event type that is defined as Billable in the Event Types view. For more information, see Chargeable Appointment Events view.

Keep in mind:

If a truck visit appointment has been reused, the Slot Reused field contains a dot or is set to true. N4 automatically sets the Slot Reused field to true for a truck visit appointment in a Canceled state when a user creates a new truck visit appointment with the same time slot as the existing canceled appointment and one of the following is true:
